i remember when you vetted me or whatever, years ago when i started this site. i just bought a midi controller and i'm gonna figure this stuff out for real. also, damn this is a good song, kinda tired rn though so i can't give good insight into why. but it seems like a really natural evolution of your style all those years ago. it just works
It's definitely a rock song, and a decent one at that. Rock songs like these I feel are way way overdone in modern music. It's nice, but after you listen to 300 songs in a playlist that all have the same core sound, it gets old. I am by no means an expert on music or anything really, but I'd suggest adding a little outside flare into any song that you do. Be creative, the medium of music is incredibly versatile and forgiving.
